The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services assists Workforce Investment Act (WIA) eligible veterans in obtaining or retaining employment leading to self sufficiency.  VSTP can provide up to $2000 for training activities and up to $500 for required supportive services which lead to employment.

VSTP activities and services may include: short-term training, on-the-job training, funding for civilian license or certification, skills gap training and supportive services funding needed to successfully complete a training activity or retain a job. Training provided must be in a demand occupation as determined by the appropriate CDJFS.
